In 2019 the Churchill Northern Studies Centre received a Nutrients for Life Learning Grant to help spread the knowledge of their “Rocket Greens” program to schools in the Polar Bear capital of the world! They have now grown over 40,000 “Rocket Greens” providing community members, restaurants, and local grocery stores with subarctic greens. The ability to grow and provide nutritious greens for their community is truly an amazing story that needs to be shared.
