Lindsey Verhaeghe

Lindsey grew up on a cattle ranch in Southern Alberta and has spent the last decade teaching the public about sustainable agriculture. Since 2009, Lindsey has worked for Nutrien Ltd (formally Agrium Inc), an international plant nutrient and agriculture retail company. Her primary focus is sponsoring youth education programs such as Journey 2050 and Farmers 2050. Lindsey believes sustainable agriculture relies on innovation and collaboration across the value chain to create positive ripple effects locally and globally. She has worked alongside Nutrients for Life for many years to ensure that science-based information is presented in an accurate, fun and interactive way for educators across the nation.
