David Pinzon lives in Calgary, Alberta. He is a plant biologist and microbiologist. He completed a PhD in Plant Biology at the University of Alberta, and holds a Bachelor and Master in microbiology from University Los Andes, in Bogota, Colombia.
He is passionate about science and helping others enjoy it as much as he does. So David has spent a significant amount of time over the last 5 years teaching kids and teachers about the science behind innovations in agriculture, and the benefits those innovations bring to farmers, the environment, and consumers.
David has worked for Corteva Agriscience over the last 8 years, he currently works with the regulatory group as a Continuous Improvement Project Leader, where he gets to experience first hand the science that supports the safety of crop protection products and seeds.
