Focused on: soils, 4R Nutrient Stewardship and plants
Nutrients for Life Canada (NFL Canada) is a national team of passionate educators working with teachers across Canada. We deliver curriculum-based programs in alignment with Canada’s Sustainable Agriculture Strategy to engage teachers and students in contributing to solutions for sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
The foundation for achieving global food security lies with one’s understanding of the importance of healthy soils and the role of nutrients to maximize the plant's potential. We offer online, in class, teacher conference, and field day learning events in collaboration with teachers and the agriculture industry! In line with our core values, we are focused on sustainable innovations in agriculture and environmental stewardship. Specifically in the areas of 4R Nutrient Stewardship, understanding soil and improving soil health, what plants need to grow, and the production of nutritious food!
A leader in "teaching teachers" with science-based, curriculum aligned plant nutrient resources, programs and initiatives. We work collaboratively with others to demonstrate the role of nutrients in plant production and promote solutions for sustainable agriculture and environmental stewardship.
The soil beneath our feet is the foundation for world food security. By leading the development and delivery of plant nutrient educational programming we ensure Canadians are informed and contributing to solutions that sustainably grow healthy plants and protect our land, air and water for future generations.
