Scotts Canada Announces 
2021 Gro for Good Grants Initiative Recipients
 Supporting Community Gardens and Green Spaces Across Canada

Nutrients for Life is proud to partner with Scotts Canada on Gro for Good Grants for 2022

Mississauga, ON (April 21st, 2022) –

The results are in, and we are thrilled to announce our 2022 Gro for Good grant recipients!! Each of these deserving communities is being awarded a $2,500 grant to help them continue to develop sustainable gardens and greenspaces in their communities! Let’s get growing!

Congratulations to the following projects and organizations that are receiving a grant this year:

  • Educational Pollinator Indigenous Carbon Capture (EPICC) Garden, Lacombe Composite High School Ecovision, Lacombe, AB
  • Intergenerational Garden, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, Katzie, Seniors Network, Maple Ridge, BC
  • XPAND-XTEND, Fredericton Community Services-Greener Village/Fredericton Foodbank, Fredericton, NB
  • Victory Garden, Western Fair District, London, ON
  • Legacy Goodwill Community, PEI Farm Centre, Charlottetown, PE
  • Mon coin du ciel, Nouveau Chapitre 18-35 ans du diocèse d’Edmundston, Edmundston, NB

Social Media Video Contest: Gro for Good grant recipients are now eligible to receive an additional $2,500 cash grant that will be awarded based on a social media contest hosted on Scotts Canada’s GroMoreGood Canada Facebook page. The contest is scheduled to run from September 29 to October 4th 2022. Check back here for important updates.

This year (2022) has been declared the Year of the Garden across Canada. We invite you to participate in this celebration. Register your garden, nominate your favourite garden hero, plant red to pay tribute to lives lost and to honour frontline workers who have served during the pandemic.
